A practical starting point for a more useful conversation about the way your organization works.
Count the handoffs, not just the licenses
The visible software bill is only part of the cost. Look at how many times information is copied from a CRM to a spreadsheet, from a spreadsheet to a schedule, and from the schedule to billing.
Find the system of record
For each important piece of information, decide where the authoritative version should live. If the answer changes by department, the organization is likely spending time reconciling versions.
Connect the operating chain
The goal is not to force every activity into one screen. It is to connect the customer, the work, the people, the time and the financial follow-up so context can move with the process.
Consolidate gradually
Start with one painful workflow, prove the operating model and then extend the platform. A staged migration is often easier to adopt than a sudden replacement of every tool.
