Interpreter Platform Migration Workbook
A successful move depends on decisions made before the first import. Use this workbook to identify essential records, assign owners, test real operational scenarios and define what must be true before your team switches systems. Start with one service line, then expand the plan around evidence from the pilot.

What you’ll take away
- 01
Agree on what is moving
Define the operational boundary before discussing files or dates. Separate records needed for tomorrow's work from historical material that only needs to remain searchable. Each decision needs an accountable owner and a measurable acceptance condition.
- 02
Create your data acceptance register
Complete one row for each record family. Replace the examples with your own source, owner and acceptance check. These are planning categories, not an import specification or a promise that a destination accepts a particular file format.
- 03
Rehearse a booking from start to finish
Use a hypothetical booking that crosses the boundaries your team finds difficult. Include a changed appointment, a qualification requirement and an expense. A successful import is only the beginning; staff must complete the connected workflow correctly.
- 04
Make the cutover decision explicit
Review these conditions with business and technical owners before scheduling the move. Use pass, open or not applicable for each item. An open item needs a named decision maker, an operational workaround and a review date.
- 05
Turn the pilot into a scoped rollout
Use the pilot evidence to decide the next service or location. Keep business acceptance separate from a supplier's delivery checklist. Your rollout should identify what is configured, what is connected and what requires additional development.
